Because of serious facility issues at BBC, we are working with Pastor Don Baier and Seminole Baptist Temple to plan and host Fellowship Week ‘17. While planning with Pastor Don it really hit me, “We are better together.” It is our hope that through our time “Together” here in Springfield we can rediscover the power of working together. Please make plans to hear the great speakers, renew old friendships, and have your heart encouraged as we come “Together.”

This year at Fellowship Week we have set aside time for our alumni to gather, eat together, and fellowship. This allows all alumni, from the area to participate as well. You can come have breakfast with us and then start your day. What a great way to get all of our alumni together. Each decade will have it’s own time in it’s own room, so that you are able to see and hear from friends you want to get reacquainted with.  All breakfasts will be held at the Tower Club in downtown Springfield. Doors open at 7:30am and breakfast starts at 8:00am. Admission is $15. If you plan on attending please RSVP below.

The Fieldhouse was built in 1968 and its location on the historic Route 66 makes it one of the most visible buildings in north Springfield. Unfortunately, it is not a pretty sight. The building has become an eyesore due to cosmetic needs which result from structural issues with the roof. The roof must be repaired in order to address the greatest need of the building, completely replacing the heating and cooling (HVAC) system, which is beyond repair.

We have put together a plan to address these needs. These proposed improvements would revitalize this beloved building and restore its functionality. The cost is steep. The original estimate to repair the roof, replace the HVAC, and update the exterior was $1,250,000. Thanks to a local contractor and a donation from a local hospital, the remaining amount needed is $500,000. This building still has a story to tell – will you help it to be a story of victory, of how we all came together to restore this special place?
