Applicants for the Associates of Science in Nursing (ASN) weekend program must meet the following requirements:

• Complete the 32 hour General Education** requirements with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
• Verification of ability to meet all “Core Performance Standards of Admission and Progression of  Nursing  Students” as listed in the Cox Catalog
• Unencumbered background check
• Drug-free status via drug screen test
• Other requirements stated in the nursing department section of the college catalog
