"A firestorm of controversy and debate began even before the book was released on March 15, 2011. The debate spread across the Evangelical world because of an eye-catching promotional video posted on YouTube. As I publically evaluate the book, Love Wins, I do understand that my work may be understood as the work of pride and one without love. The book itself projects the central attribute of God as that of love. I am keenly aware of the risk I take. One may interpret this book review as arrogant, old-fashioned, hard-lined, and uncaring conservatism..."

Kristina Joiner recently received accolades for her teaching performance from her colleagues at Anderson Elementary in Spring, Texas. Kristina is a 2010 graduate of the Elementary Education program at BBC. She completed her student teaching experience at Watkins Elementary – a partner school of BBC. Kristina was one of five students that were part of the 2009 Teacher Education Alliance BBC student-teaching cohort.
