*The BBC Patriots and Lady Patriots will play Rhema Bible College on Thursday, Jan. 22. The ladies game starts at 5:30 and the men start at 7:30. It will be Noble Hill Baptist Church night with Pastor Bagwell doing the opening prayer and music director Ron George singing the National Anthem. Half price tickets for anyone bringing in a bulletin from Noble Hill. Proud to be a Patriot!

Women's Game Cancelled for Jan. 17

Please note that the women's game originally scheduled for Jan. 17 at 2:00 has been cancelled. Manhattan Christian College has cancelled their basketball season for this year, therefore the game has been cancelled.

Patriots Move to 4-1 With Victory at Calvary Bible College

The BBC Patriots travelled to Calvary Bible College on Saturday and came away with a 105-78 victory. The Patriots started off sluggish, but were able to take a 56-32 lead into halftime.

Baptist Bible College was able to extend their lead to 89-50 midway through the second half and ended up with the 105-78 victory. Freshman Collin Holzer led the Patriots with 20 pts. Freshman James Grubbs added 18 points and 9 rebounds. The Patriots finish up the first semester of the season with an exhibition contest at NCAA D II Missouri Western State University on Dec. 14 at 3:30 pm in St. Joseph, Missouri.

Patriots move to 3-1 with road victory vs. Division I Ecclesia College

The BBC Patriots earned a hard fought victory on the road against Ecclesia College in Springdale, Arkansas on Thursday night. The Patriots trailed much of the game but were able to pull out a 75-76 victory against the NCCAA D I Royals from Ecclesia.

The Patriots trailed 30 to 26 at halftime, but were able to come out of the locker room strong in the second half to tie the game at 30 after a quick bucket and another steal for a basket. The Royals would go on to lead by as much as 7 in the second half before the Patriots were able to take a one point lead with 22 seconds remaining and held on for the win.

Freshman Cody Allhands led the Patriots with 19 points and Freshman James Grubbs added 15 before fouling out with 9 minutes left in the contest. The Patriots take on the Warriors from Calvary Bible College in Belton, MO on Saturday at 4:00.

Patriots Move to 2-0 with win at CCCB

The Baptist Bible College Patriots traveled to Moberly, MO to take on the Central Christian College of the Bible Saints in a regional contest Friday night. The Patriots came out strong and took a quick 14-2 lead. The Saints battled back to take a four point lead midway through the half. The Patriots battled back to take a 34-32 lead into the half.

In the second half, BBC was able to make some adjustments and pick up their intensity to help lead to an 82-66 road victory. The win brings the Patriots' record to 2-0 and 1-0 in the region.

The Patriots were led by Freshman point guard, Cody Allhands with 21 points. Sophomore Jordan Epling chipped in with 18 point. Senior Jesse Johnson and Freshman James Grubbs each added 10 points.

The Patriots take on Central Baptist College on Saturday in Conway, Arkansas.

   

Patriots Leading the Nation in Scoring Average

The BBC Patriots are currently leading the nation (NCCAA D II) in points per game with an average of 93.0 points per game. Freshman Cody Allhands is currently fourth in the nation with an average of 21.0 points per game. Freshman James Grubbs is currently 10th in the nation in rebounds per game with an average of 9.0 reb per game.
   

BBC Patriots Win at Champion Baptist

The BBC Patriots (1-0) opened up their regular season with a 93-88 road victory over Champion Baptist College in Hot Springs, Arkansas. The Patriots led 46-42 at halftime and were able to maintain their lead the majority of the second half. BBC led by as many as 9 points, but the hard working Tigers from Champion Baptist were able to tie the game at 71. The young Patriots kept their composure and were able to pull out the five point road win.

Freshman Cody Allhands led the Patriots with 21 points. Freshman James Grubbs added 17 points and 9 rebounds. Freshman Skyler Baker contributed 12 points and 6 rebounds.

The Patriots will next be in action Saturday, Nov. 15 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas for an exhibition contest against NCAA DII Ouchita Baptist University.
